Burden and Vision of Outreach
God has called us to England to plant Baptist Churches. God has directed our ministry focus to the area of Stoke-On-Trent. It is about 3 hours northwest of London. Just north of Stoke-On-Trent is the city of Congleton. Congleton Baptist Church is licensed and sponsors us to be in the country of England as a minister. Congleton Baptist Church was planted by another missionary with BIMI, John Jones. It is a growing body of believers which has a wonderful spirit of worship. We plan on assisting brother Jones there at the church in Congleton with its expanding ministries and outreach to all of the Congleton area homes and families. Please pray for the process of licensing and sponsorship of churches and other missionaries to England, it is a new process for missionaries entering the UK.
While in Selmer, I led the church to knock on every door in the county, which we accomplished in two years and two months. We will be going door to door and having families in our home for meals and Bible studies to reach adults. Having been an assistant pastor and a senior pastor has been vital preparation to become an effective help to brother Jones and the Congleton Baptist Church.
